production- finished product

After reading the comments from our questionnaire completed by the audience, we decided that the quality of the sound wasnt very good at all. The only way to fix this, we felt, was to start over with all of the sound and overdub the whole of the film. First I felt i needed to watch it with no music or sound so i cold get the feel of what is needed to be recreated, instead of just putting the same sound in. This gives me the chance to be more creative with sound without having to rely on what happens on the filming day. To do this i simply muted the sound on final cut. Once i had a feeling of what was needed to do i opened the film in 'sound track pro' and recreated the sound for every little bit of the film. This include recording the actors voices, which i had planned a few days for us to complete as i know it would be hard for the actors to copy their voice exactly. I also added foley sounds for ambience which wasnt there in the original sound. It was hard to find the sound for the lock on the box. For this i had to use a short clip and time stretch it to make it link with the film.
As well as this we filmed a shot of what is inside the brief case. We thought this would be good to move the film on.
