I suggested to have a dominant colour and shape in our film opening because it emphasises the mood and atmosphere of the scenes.
BLACK: inconspicuous, to open the door to mystery, to prepare for the unknown and a restful emptiness
CIRCLE: Complete, Infinity, Life circle and Never ending
