Evaluation: Question 4

Who would be the audience for you media product?
The audience, from my research i conducted on ‘YouTube’ and ‘ilovefilm.com’ by reading the comments left at the bottom of the clips, would most likely to be male dominated. Between the ages of 16 to 50s, sometimes maybe a little bit older.
From my questionnaire research I found out that quite a few female teens to late 30s liked the crime thriller film genre however still was mostly dominated by males. I also researched the most likely audience to be watching at the cinema, this is because if my film was to go out it would be going through the cinema before it went onto DVD, so finding out this information would help show figures on how many and who would buy the DVD. I found that its mostly younger adults that view any films at the cinema. I found that 16-25 year old adults watched films mostly, with no definite gender domination. This changes my perception on my audience greatly, because of this the audience would end up being British young adults any gender. I very much doubt that any other country would appreciate the British comedy this film would have and would find it inappropriate or even not funny!
