Evaluation: Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
While making the film I feel I have learnt a lot from the different types of software you have to use to complete a decent product. One thing I feel I have learnt is how to do a Freeze frame using colours to make the most out of the image; however we ended up taking the entire colour out of the freeze frame to resemble a photo taken in a jail maybe or on an identity badge. I also learnt how to superimpose a different clip onto a running clip. In my case I used the clip of DI Jill walking downstairs and every time the shot changed to Sergeant I put her on his blank laptop in front of him to resemble CCTV. As though he was watching her get ready to go and see the gangsters. This I was very proud of doing as i changed it to put a filter on to make it look like it was 3D and actually playing on the laptop using the right angles. While filming I learnt how to use the dolly as I have never used them before that day. It was pretty simple to set up. I used them on the section at the start for the police walking down the corridor. Finally I feel I have improved mostly on editing. I feel that I have become a lot quicker at editing scenes and getting the shot perfect so it all flows well.
